Marketing Manager - Channels / Demand Generation (f/m/d)

ysura is a SaaS innovator, committed to providing intuitive, fast and flexible commercial solutions for pharma organisations across the spectrum — niche businesses, medium companies and large global enterprises.


We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Marketing Manager to help build the ysura brand globally. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing the marketing strategy in our most important channels. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will develop and deliver Social Media and Email marketing campaigns that promote the organisation. Additionally, you will manage and drive improvements for our corporate website. The ideal candidate has a creative mindset, is skilled at building and implementing strategies  to generate interest and demand from potential and current customers, and has experience in SaaS and B2B marketing.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to build Email Marketing campaigns, newsletters, and Social Media to raise awareness and generate demand for ysura solutions
  • End-to-end design and production of newsletters and email marketing campaigns, including lead nurturing, brand marketing, and promotional efforts
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels - LinkedIn, Twitter, and XING, including writing and adapting content to suit the different channels
  • Form relationships with influencers across social media platforms to build followers and publicity; collaborate with external partners to team up to write articles for newsletters 
  • Undertake audience research to optimise and continually improve outreach strategies
  • Manage social media communities by participating in discussions and replying to posts
  • Monitor, analyse, report on and improve performance in social media platforms, email marketing, and website using tools such as Google Analytics
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in relevant channels in order to find new and better ways of engage with prospects and existing customers
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and marketing developments in SaaS
  • Recommend ideas and implement approved plans to improve brand awareness and customer engagement in all channels
  • Educate internal staff on the use of social media and promote its use within the company
  • Work closely with Content Marketing Manager and design to create copy as required
  • Manage the website, keeping content relevant and fresh to drive traffic, engage visitors, and convert prospects to customers 
  • Set appropriate KPIs for all activities and campaigns to track success and ROI


Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from writing a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques to creating inspiring articles, required
  • Experience in social media marketing, newsletters and email marketing at an enterprise software or cloud-based solution provider, nice to have
  • Fluent in English with German knowledge or German native speaker with fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, required 
  • Working knowledge and in-depth understanding of life sciences, nice to have
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills, required
  • Experience in analysing and understanding how to drive traffic to the website, increase brand awareness and consumer engagement, required
  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising, branding and customers, required
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation, desired
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration and networking skills, required
  • Online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers, required
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems, HTML, Marketo, and Adobe Creative Cloud, and a range of martech and analytics tools (salesforce, google analytics, wordpress etc.), required
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately, required
